Zanat, a brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship design in the furniture industry. The company recently participated in the 2024 Salone del Mobile, one of the leading design events in Milan.
at the Salone del Mobile, Zanat presented its “Pattern of Life” project, which beautifully integrates lighting into the overall structure of its exhibit. The lighting design utilized specific beam angles to enhance the intricate, hand-carved textures of the furniture pieces, creating a three-dimensional effect. The contrast between deep, dark colors and lighter hues highlighted the richness of the materials, allowing the craftsmanship to shine.
Dimmer systems were employed to create a dynamic atmosphere, utilizing soft beams and accent lighting that made products stand out against the backdrop of the stand. Reflections in strategically placed mirrors added depth, further emphasizing the interplay of light and shadow in the space. The integration of track lighting was seamlessly woven into the architect’s design of the stand, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic while maintaining visual comfort and minimizing glare.
The choice of colour temperature between 2700k,3000k and 4000k played a crucial role in achieving an elegant balance throughout the exhibit. The lighting was carefully calibrated to enhance the volumes of the objects, highlighting their contours and shapes while casting shadows that added dimensionality. This thoughtful approach allowed the illuminated materials to engage with the light, creating reflections and shadow volumes that enriched the overall visual experience.
A significant aspect of the lighting design was its elegant reimagining as natural light. The fixed, diffused, and powerful illumination of the pavilion was channelled through the architectural forms and openings of the stand, which featured a system of adjustable wooden ribs. This design allowed for the light to filter through, creating soft, directed beams that illuminated focal points and highlighted the rich textures of the furniture.
Zanat’s participation in the Salone del Mobile 2024 not only showcased its commitment to design excellence but also highlighted the importance of lighting by harmonizing light with form, texture, and colour, Zanat successfully transformed its exhibit into a captivating exploration of design and craftsmanship, inviting visitors to experience the beauty of its creations in a truly unique way.
