Designed for specifiers to meet every application need across an entire building campus, the 3-inch modular cylinder family is the industry’s preferred small-aperture cylinders, providing high performance with simple installation and serviceability, while offering easy on-site modification.
The X Series Cylinders have also been designed to complement the X Series Downlighting Collection, which utilize the same modules so light quality, color and output remains consistent for a cohesive look.
The pendant, surface-mount and ADA compliant wall-mount X Series Cylinders feature tool-less, field-changeable optics and trims that provide an unmatched level of flexibility and customization with a choice of over a million configurations.
The cylinders are offered in 6-1/2 and 9-inch lengths with lumen outputs ranging from 750 to 1500 lumens. The direct/indirect option allows up to 3000 lumens.
Colour temperature choices include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and Warm Dim (3000K – 1800K) and Tunable White (4000K – 1800K and 6500K – 2700K) with a 93 colour rendering index (2-step/3-step SDCM).
Integrated module/LED light engine are offered in Fixed Downlight and Adjustable (360-degree rotation and 45-degree tilt) allows for the tool-less field-interchangeable optics (20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-degrees distributions) for the ultimate in flexibility when aiming a project or onsite design changes. A Hex Louver accessory is available for the modules that minimizes glare.
DALI-2 digital control provides the Tunable White technology that allows adjustment from warm white to cool white in two options noted. DALI also provides .1% dimming for static, Warm Dim and Tunable White, and is achieved with the driver integrated into the cylinder versus using a remote driver to maximize install flexibility—unique to the cylinder category.
Interchangeable trims choices include Snoot, Wall Wash, and unique decorative choices (Floating, Hyperbolic and Open), as well as a Standard trim. Decorative options feature finely crafted acrylic with transparent and frosted visual elements.
Field-cuttable cord and stem lengths can be adjusted on site and include 24- or 48-inch standard lengths or custom up to 156 inches (cord) or 96 inches (stem). A Flangeless Surface Ring is available for seamless flangeless surface mounting.
Finish options include Brushed Aluminum, Bronze, Black, White or a Custom RAL color to compliment any space.
Featuring a sustainable design, the cylinders are ENERGY STAR® and Title 24 JA8 compliant, Dark Sky Approved and Declare Listed for Living Building Challenge and LEED projects. The products are Wet Location Listed with include IP65 Rated configurations for use both indoors and outdoors. The cylinders are also NSF/ASNI 2 Splash Zone Safe Listed.
At end of life, 90% of the materials are recyclable.
