Motorless Biophilic Exterior & Submersible Lighting

The Unda system was conceived to bring subtle, nature-inspired movement to pools and water features, creating immersive ripple effects even over still water surfaces. Traditional water feature lighting often relies on mechanical movement or large visible fixtures, introducing visual clutter and maintenance challenges. Unda delivers motorless dynamic ripple patterns from a highly compact system with a 35 mm light-emitting area, 8 Watts producing natural, evolving light without visible mechanics, noise, or disruption.

Simplicity, reliability, and minimal points of failure were key drivers. The ultra-compact, submersible design allows seamless integration directly inside pools, fountains, or along surrounding decks, making the fixture nearly invisible when not in use.

The optical system translates natural water phenomena into precise, evolving patterns that evoke calm, biophilic ambience. Its unique ability to animate still water allows designers to create dynamic visual experiences even when the surface is perfectly calm, enhancing the surrounding environment and creating immersive atmospheres.

Connectivity and flexibility were central to the design. Unda integrates effortlessly with DALI, DMX, or Casambi, enabling designers to synchronize effects with landscape lighting or architectural features, controlling intensity, ripple speed, and color temperature precisely.
