Toto resembles a contemporary sculpture, showcasing Thomas Cooper Studio’s commitment to light as art. Crafted from stacked hand-cast glass slabs and natural brass elements, it was inspired by a visit to a marble quarry in Tuscany, where the company’s owners Sally Thomas Cooper and Jason Kai Cooper were struck by stacks of discarded architectural carvings—corbels, columns, and other remnants—left to one side. This fusion of artistry and inspiration exemplifies the duality of the Thomas Cooper Studio approach: lighting that is as much a statement piece as it is a source of illumination.
The Toto Floor Lamp measures 15” L x 15” W x 76” OAH. Each piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Thomas Cooper Studio’s East LA studio and workshop, with customization options available upon request.
