The fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world after oil. Behind the beautiful appearance of clothes, there are always harmful effects that are equal to all non-renewable materials such as plastic and its products and are harmful to the environment over the years.

A family in the western world throws away an average of 30 kg of clothes in a year. Only 15% of these clothes can be recycled or donated, and the rest are sent directly to landfills or incinerated. Synthetic fibers such as polyester and plastic are non-renewable fibers and their decomposition takes more than 200 years. Synthetic fibers are used in 72% of our clothes.

In this light art installation, we tried to depict this issue with the help of light and sound, we tried to convey to the audience the future of the earth destroyed by these pollutions.

Behind the beautiful appearance of the mannequin’s clothe, environmentally destructive plastic materials are displayed in a way that complete the clothe in the back of mannequin, which is done by changing the color of the light and music.

We also use the bird feathers and paint color as spilled animal blood.
