Our light installation symbolizes how we touch and influence each other. The light lines represent different personalities crossing, supporting and shaping each other. Where they touch, subtle colour variations emerge.

Have you ever thought about where your personality comes from? Do you sometimes reflect on who has influenced you and what values you have inherited from others? Are you curious about everything you’ve learned throughout your life that has made you who you are today?
At Vivalyte, we love to shine a light on innovation, creativity, and human connections. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with young designers as they embarked on a journey to create an art installation for the Wonder Festival in Kortrijk.
The three young designers, June, Milena, and Axelle, were inspired by the origin of individual traits, often referred to as ‘nurture.’
Working with Michiel Meersseman who brought their idea to reality and together they created a light installation. Representing how one’s personality can take on an entirely new form when encountering new people.
We created various shapes symbolizing different personalities. Where these shapes meet, colours blend. The installation invites deep reflection on who we are now, how we have evolved, and how the future will continue to change us.
