Located just off the Avenue Montaigne, RH Paris, The Gallery on the Champs-Élysées, stands at the global epicenter of fashion and luxury.
From the moment guests pass through the 6m high entrance doors, they are welcomed by warm tones of light and timber of the RH design library, a collection of rare books. Commanding centre stage of the library is one of the first modern prints of De Architectura by Marcus Vetruvius
The gallery, spanning seven levels, is connected by a soaring atrium of backlit floating staircases and uplit cast medallion balustrades.
A clean, layered lighting strategy was developed that enhances the architecture while drawing focus to furniture and artwork. Feature RH pendants create a warm elegance throughout the retail space surrounding the soaring atrium. Balance and subtle emphasis guide the eye through the space, supporting both ambience and functionality.
Moving through the Gallery you discover two restaurants and a bar – Le Jardin RH, is a glass and steel structure inspired by the Grand Palais and designed by Foster & Partners. The steel frame is elegantly lit by integrated uplights behind the banquets and magnetic spotlights overhead all providing candle warm tones, supplemented by jewel like table lights and stunning backdrops of the white onyx bar and vivd greenery from the landscape.
The World of RH Bar & Lounge is a physical and digital immersion into the places and spaces that define the RH brand.
On the top two floors you step into Le Petit RH, a jewel box of champagne lacquered walls and a luminous ceiling of over 7,000 handblown polyhedrons. Tables are individually pinspot with light sources hidden overhead. Tuneable white light is integrated into the wine fridges and concealed behind mirrors and artwork
While RH Paris may not sound like a retail store, its not meant to be. Its an expression of the RH vision, values and beliefs.
