QuikBeam - Astera
Astera introduces QuikBeam Connect, a compact LED fresnel purpose-built to bridge the gap between permanent architectural integration and dynamic event versatility. Designed for museums, galleries, hospitality venues, and hybrid corporate spaces—as well as music clubs, theaters, and cruise ship venues—it solves the modern challenge of adaptable environments: providing high-performance architectural illumination that can instantly transition into dynamic event lighting without additional infrastructure.
Seamless Architectural Integration
Engineered for discretion, QuikBeam Connect eliminates cabling clutter. It features a removable yoke with airline track for rapid deployment and fully supports Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows integrators to drive power and data through a single CAT cable using standard PoE switches, ideal for heritage buildings or venues with limited power infrastructure. For more traditional setups, it is also compatible with standard track systems and supports rugged EtherCON wiring for temporary event workflows.
Uncompromised Color Science
At its core lies the Titan LED Engine (RGBMA), the absolute standard in the demanding film industry (CRI/TLCI > 96). Unlike typical architectural fixtures limited to static white or basic RGB, QuikBeam Connect delivers full-spectrum color mixing and precise tunable whites (1,750K – 20,000K). With an output of 2,294 lux at 3m (9.8 ft), a 13°–60° zoom, and ultra-lightweight barndoors, it offers the optical precision required to highlight sculptural elements or accentuate walls with absolute fidelity.
The “Event-Ready” Advantage
What sets QuikBeam Connect apart is its “Event DNA.” While acting as a wired, reliable architectural fixture via ArtNet/sACN, it retains Astera’s award-winning wireless capabilities (CRMX, Bluetooth, WiFi, IR and UHF). This gives venue managers unprecedented freedom: a museum can operate efficiently on a wired PoE network by day, and seamlessly switch to wireless tablet control for a gala event by night, without renting external consoles or climbing ladders to re-patch.
Innovative Ecosystem
The system is completed by Astera’s PoE++ NetBox, which manages power/data for up to four units, and PrepBox functionality for remote IP addressing.
