The landscape lighting design transforms this private coastal residence into a nocturnal atmospheric scene. The lighting concept highlights the natural geometry of the terrain, the unique sculptures, the vegetation, and the serene view of the sea. Carefully composed layers of light reveal the textures and silhouettes of olive trees and cypresses, guiding the viewer’s eye through the garden’s organic pathways.

Discreet, low-glare luminaires illuminate the paths, creating a subtle visual flow that guides residents effortlessly through the space. Uplights emphasize the vertical forms of cypresses and mature trees, adding dimension and balance to the composition. Sculptural elements are illuminated with artistic expression, integrating them harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.

The lighting design enhances visual depth through a calibrated interplay of color temperatures, combining warm white (2700K), neutral white (3000K), and crisp cool white (4000K) tones depending on the type of planting and architectural feature. Warmer tones soften intimate garden areas, while 3000K and 4000K accents introduce clarity and contrast for vertical vegetation, sculptural elements, and key focal points, achieving a balanced and harmonious composition that complements the natural palette.

From elevated viewpoints, the residence glows discreetly within the Mediterranean setting, with individual points of light echoing the stars above and reflecting off the sea below—creating a delicate balance between visibility and mystery. The result is a landscape that breathes with light.
