Introducing ORION 2, the downlight with the smallest aperture ELR has ever created to our luminaire collection to date. ORION 2 is a series of small sized pinhole downlight available in fix, tilt, with trim or flush mount variations, incorporating ELR’s signature modular concept design for utmost versatility. From the beginning, we aspire to create a unique fixture that carries adequate and powerful illumination from the smallest aperture possible, on top of that is the excellent glare control properties with a dark silent ring to prevent intense reflection of light on the aperture. ORION 2 is designed to be paired with ELR 20 series LED modules that comes in variants of single CCT, Warm Dim, tuneWHITE and flexiK to fulfil a wide range of applications that require either static or dynamic white light. Even with a minuscule aperture of just 15mm in diameter, the ORION 2 is capable to produce up to 748lm output with beam angle as much as 40 degrees (FWHM). This formidable capability is achieved and made possible only because ELR LED modules are equipped with X-BEAM optical lens that emits light in a converging manner to maximise luminous efficiency with minimal blockage and light loss from the fixture. As with most ELR’s modular downlight fixtures, ORION 2 is equipped with our iconic ceiling safe feature, which is a protective mechanism that allows frontal removal of the light fixture for accessibility of LED module and driver to facilitate maintenance or upgrading works without the risks of damaging ceiling in the process. Overall, ORION 2 is an aesthetically minimal yet powerful and highly versatile downlight solution that blends in well with the ceiling, extending yet another unique product series to ELR’s modular luminaires line up.
