MIXBOOK is a digital swatchbook that enables Lighting Designers to pre-visualize gel and LED colours in order to communicate their colour choices with other members of their team. This helpful lighting tool is controlled via Bluetooth® by our free myMIX® app to enable lighting professionals to explore how their colour choices will perform in the reality of their project.
Until now, lighting professionals had no way to previsualize and communicate their LED colour choices without setting up a fixture and a console. Using the Colour Mode in the myMIX app, users can select their desired colors – using either Hue, Saturation and Intensity levels, or CIE xy values – and then explore how those colors perform with MIXBOOK.
MIXBOOK ships inside a neoprene pouch with a belt loop, so that lighting professionals can always have this handy tool at their side. The device also features a ¼-20 socket on the bottom for easy attachment to a light stand or mounting device in order to go hands-free. MIXBOOK charges via any standard Micro USB charger.
Lighting Designers can create colours, curate a project folder, save, and then share these colours so that their colleagues and teammates can utilize exactly the same colours. During a time of distance collaboration, the MIXBOOK creates an essential solution, digitizing colours, in a way that has never been done before.
