The new Darkring optics are a breakthrough development for effective glare control. Light from a circular LED board is projected onto the target area via a conical indirect reflector. Depending on the specific contour of this reflector, different beam angles are available – medium beam, wide beam or extra wide beam. Excellent glare control is achieved by shielding the LED light source completely from view. Depending on the viewing angle onto the reflector surface, glare levels are reduced by a factor of 3 or 4 compared to direct standard optics.
With the new Darkring optics Metaspot is a unique luminaire for architectural outdoor lighting offering excellent visual comfort. The floodlights are available for surface mounting or with a pole mounting system. They can be connected to a Zhaga-18 control and monitoring system.
