HIRO™ – Highly Robust Architectural Lighting

HIRO™ sets standards in architectural lighting and makes the unique visible. Developed for extreme conditions such as salty air, flooding, strong temperature fluctuations and high mechanical loads, HIRO™ is an extremely robust, long-lasting in-ground spotlight with a clear design concept.

Maximum protection and durability

The robust housing made of epolished 316Ti stainless steel and ultra-clear safety glass guarantees maximum resistance. The IP68 and IP69 protection ratings and IK11 impact resistance enable use under the most demanding conditions. HIRO™ can also withstand a load of up to two tonnes.

Innovative technology: CapStop™

With the unique CapStop™, moisture is stopped 100% by capillary effect via the cable. The fully encapsulated design prevents drop formation and ensures long-term operation without failures.

Optimised light control and glare-free design

A matt black interior reduces glare, while the deeply recessed LED unit provides additional visual comfort. The LED unit can be adjusted by 20° on site to focus precisely on the target object. The spotlight does not need to be opened on site for this.

Maximum flexibility and customisation

HIRO™ can be rotated by 350° after installation to adapt perfectly to the surroundings. Different light colours and beam angles (10° spot, 25° medium, 50° wide, 120° flood, diffuse) ensure versatile use in architectural, object and area lighting.

Extremely resilient – even in challenging environments

Thanks to maritime protection classes, HIRO™ can withstand harsh environmental conditions in coastal regions, harbours and promenade areas. The use of 316Ti stainless steel prevents corrosion from salty air and seawater, while the high temperature resistance enables operation at up to 40°C. Intelligent temperature management provides additional protection for the LED modules.

Sustainable and animal-friendly lighting

HIRO™ helps to reduce light pollution and protect nocturnal animals. Through the targeted selection of light colour, modular control and glare reduction, natural lighting concepts can be implemented. Special amber LEDs (>560 nm) minimise the attraction of insects and do not disturb the habitat of turtles and other animals.
