Ligman’s new FRAME bollard is a unique piece of urban landscape furniture. More than a just a lighting bollard, FRAME is designed to be both a comfortable exterior seat as well as provide ambient and directional lighting.
The design of the fixture references the letter ‘i’ in the LIGMAN logo, so in profile has a delicately canted stance with a ‘cut’ which houses a directional asymmetric downlight and additional concealed 360-degree glowing base to make the fixture appear to float on the ground.
Standard options are with white LED lighting to the head and base and a version with RGBW to the base. Special finish options can be provided with two-tone powder coated variations
FRAME’s robust, solid cast construction is manufactured from LM6 low copper content aluminium and has a protection rating of IK10 for the main body and top casting. There are separate lighting elements to the head, which has a glass diffuser and the base. It is formed from two solid aluminium gravity-cast parts to provide the stability and load-bearing needs. Having two castings also means it can be provided in both a single powder coat finish and in a two-tone in any desired colour combination.
FRAME can also be supplied with Universal plug and USB socket.’
