Foglie - Rona Meyuchas Koblenz

Foglie is a chandelier that embodies the balance between materials, light, and shade.

This balance became the essence of my inspiration. I named the piece Foglie, Italian for “leaves,” as a tribute to the four unique glass leaves forms.

The chandelier is made from brass, powder coat finished. The four unique glass leaves forms are placed along a 2500 mm tube, one in front of the other, overlapping so the light casts beautifully through them and is lit with linear 2700 K warm white LED light, throwing the light up and down. Each glass shape is three dimensional, and to ensure that the glasses do not touch the ones in front of them, I designed a special mechanism that controls their direction during assembly.

As light passes through the textured glass, it creates a gentle, translucent glow, an effect that brings a soft, natural movement and enhances the sense of calm within the space.

I have designed Foglie in different versions, including wall, ceiling applique, and floor light.
