Rako’s elegant new RK-EOS Portrait and WK-EOS Portrait keypads have been designed specifically for the unique requirements of the EMEA and APAC markets. The narrow, vertical design is a popular choice in these regions with European manufactured keypads often not meeting the demands of this market. Rako have responded to this need and extended its standard RK and WK EOS keypad range.

The attractive, screwless design of Rako’s EOS Portrait keypads create a clean and uncluttered aesthetic and recessed into each plate are six push buttons offering a reassuring and tactile interface. Designed to offer premium quality with user experience at the heart of the design. Each button is fully customisable and can be addressed to separate Rako Rooms or Channels, providing simple configuration to suit particular client’s needs. The keypad’s timeless design with easy-to-use and customisable control appeal strongly to lighting designers and their clients. Lighting, curtain and blind configurations are available as standard with custom engraving also available so that keypads can be tailored to the requirements of a project

The keypads are available in seven hand-finished finishes – Matt White, Matt Black, Satin Chrome, Polished Chrome, Matt Bronze, Antique Brass and Polished Brass – to complement contemporary or more traditional interiors.

The RK-EOS Portrait push button wireless control module is programmable via Rako’s patented NFC (Near Field Communication) technology allowing each button to trigger a single or multiple commands. They need to be programmed with a laptop using Rako’s Rasoft Pro software with either the Rako RAMPI programming interface or a Rako HUB. The Wireless keypads are powered by a lithium battery and Rako’s coded radio transmission eliminates the need for any data cables ensuring minimal disruption or fuss in installation.

The WK-EOS Portrait push button wired control module is programmable via Rako’s Rasoft Pro software. Connection is easy with the Rako wired CAT5 network by a removable 8-way Krone punch down module. This can be installed at first fix stage prior to the push button front control module, protecting the control module from being damaged while building works are being finished.
