The DALI Broadcast Module from Mode Lighting redefines what broadcast DALI can achieve by placing tunable white and colour control at the centre of simplified, intelligent control.

Engineered to support both DALI DT6 and DT8 communication, the module enables seamless control of single-channel luminaires, tunable white fixtures and RGBW colour-changing fittings from a single platform. Designers can deliver smooth dimming, precise colour temperature adjustment and dynamic colour control, all without the commissioning burden typically associated with fully addressed DALI systems. This makes high-performance, human-centric and visually dynamic lighting schemes accessible across a wider range of projects.

While the module operates using DALI broadcast commands to simplify installation and commissioning, it incorporates intelligent line monitoring that elevates it beyond conventional broadcast solutions. Each of its eight outputs actively counts the number of connected DALI drivers, with up to 32 devices per line, enabling the system to detect and report fixture failures. This provides meaningful feedback to installers and facilities teams, delivering a level of operational visibility rarely found in broadcast-based control.

By removing the requirement for individual addressing while retaining device awareness, the module dramatically reduces commissioning time and on-site complexity.
