DUSK Lighting Visualiser- Bloqdigital

DUSK is a new online lighting visualising tool aimed at lighting designers, that uses Gemini AI to transform daytime photos, renders and even hand sketches into illuminated night scenes for in-house brainstorming sessions, mood-boards and initial lighting concepts.

It’s smart enough to detect not only if your uploaded image is either interior or exterior, but also the appropriate project sector. It presents you with some suitable pre-set options to try out, but this is just a taste. The real fun begins when you write your own requests & instructions by clicking “Custom Edit” and using the text box.

The results can be viewed either side-by-side or with a before/after slider, and you can click Retry for more variations before saving your preferred output.

BETA 1.1 adds new light painting and area selection tools for editing and refining.

This tool has been given specific training data on lighting design theory & lighting product knowledge in a bid to define parameters and achieve much more accurate results than just using a general AI agent or LLM like ChatGPT or Midjourney.

Currently in Beta testing phase, the aim of DUSK as a project is to increase awareness in the capabilities of AI-augmented tools, which can help streamline and enhance the design process whilst providing a playful, creative experience.
