Designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos, Coordinates is a lighting system consisting of horizontal and vertical strip lights that come together to form illuminated grid structures in a host of different configurations. Originally created as a commissioned feature for the main dining area in the historic Four Seasons restaurant in New York, Coordinates has now evolved into a series of pared down configurations of chandeliers suitable for a wide variety of settings. Coordinates is now available as four suspended chandeliers of different sizes and three ceiling mounted luminaires, in two lengths to suit low or high ceilings. The collection also features a repeatable module – suspended or ceiling mounted – that can be assembled to create large and impressive light installations. The range is completed by a vertical floor lamp and wall luminaire. Coordinates is manufactured from extruded aluminium with a unique champagne anodised finish with diffusers in opal white platinic silicone to ensure no colour degradation. Coordinates is an elegant, exact and adaptable collection whose flexibility and technical precision makes it ideal for a diverse range of indoor applications providing maximum impact from minimal design.
