Caleide - De Castelli by Federica Cammarota

A collaboration between De Castelli and lighting designer Federica Cammarota, the Caleide collection merges light and matter. Available in three sizes (300, 600, and 900 mm in diameter) and compatible with E27 bulbs, the collection offers 27 product variants. This modularity allows Caleide to adapt to any space: small pieces can be aligned to create a visual rhythm in corridors or staircases, while larger versions are ideal for bigger settings and iconic spaces. Individually, these pieces act as three-dimensional paintings, creating a canvas shaped by light.

Caleide is a polychrome mosaic of steel, brass, and copper, combining oxidized and brushed finishes. At the center of the disc, a blown opal glass diffuser softens the E27 bulb’s light into a delicate glow, illuminating the matte metal surfaces and enhancing their natural tones and textures.

In any lighting design project, Caleide provides essential diffused light. It complements technical lighting by creating a welcoming atmosphere, offering designers a versatile tool to enhance architectural spaces.
