AURA | Where daylight becomes design

AURA was born from observing how natural light moves across architecture throughout the day—soft at dawn, clear at noon, and warm at dusk. This inspired the idea of bringing that rhythm indoors through design.

For Italian designer Giovanni Filardi, who was raised in Foggia and is now based in Turin, inspiration begins with light itself. Growing up under the intense southern sun and later surrounded by the soft northern glow, Giovanni learned how light defines emotion and proportion. In AURA, he translates these impressions into form and material, distilling light into a timeless, balanced presence.

Each element has been reduced to its purest function. The push-fit LED holder and integrated driver make servicing easy and extend product life, reflecting a circular approach to design.

AURA’s full-spectrum LED engine, paired with an alabaster diffuser, recreates the clarity of natural light while enhancing material warmth and comfort.

More than just a decorative object, AURA is a quiet presence that shapes atmosphere through craftsmanship, emotion, and precision.
