This light started the same way almost all of my lights do which is showcasing the bulb. I’m drawn to leaving the bulb exposed maybe because it’s easy, or maybe it’s actually harder. When the bulb is the centre of attention there is no where to hide the work, or the source of light and besides, everyone understands a light bulb. There was no particular inspiration for this one that I can remember. I’m typically inspired by objects that aren’t light fixtures but with a twist here and there they could be. Also breaking things down to the absolute minimum of what is needed is always a great challenge I employ with all my designs Less is always more
