In the project for the new Rome headquarters of SDA Bocconi School of Management – ​​moved to a historic villa in via Nibby Almost 2,500 square meters of internal surface, of which 620 for teaching. The indoor lighting project was developed by applying the Human-centric lighting principle, with Tunable white and RGBW luminaires that allow the lighting temperature to be adapted during the day following the circadian cycle: the color of the light produces a stimulating effect in the morning and calming in the evening thus promoting the natural sleep-wake rhythm.

The innovative lighting system managed via the KNX system also allows you to create customized dynamic light scenarios according to the teaching activities, thus increasing visual and environmental comfort, but also to highlight university initiatives and events.

A total of about 740 lighting fixtures (technical and decorative) and about 750 linear meters of LED profiles were installed a system for dimming the luminaires based on daylight was added which leads to a consumption of approximately 13.5 kW for a consumption of 5.3 W/m2.
