Magdalena Gomez has over 20 years of experience in architectural lighting design. Originally from Mexico City, Magdalena moved to Germany to pursue a Master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design.

She has worked in prestigious Lighting Design practices in Germany, Mexico, Sweden and UK before founding So It Is Design Studio in London in 2023.

She has worked on a diverse range of projects in the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean including artwork installations, UNESCO protected sites, luxury developments and residential, as well as hospitality and city master plans.
