Eleftheria is a pioneer in lighting design in Greece known for her significant contributions to both entertainment and architectural lighting since the 1990s. In 2000, she founded Eleftheria Deko & Associates Architectural Lighting Design Studio, which has realised a variety of high-profile projects including the Acropolis and the new wing of Athens International Airport. Her participation in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games was an important moment in her career, as Director and Lighting Designer of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, for which Eleftheria and her team won an EMMY award.
