Closer - Vibia Lighting
Closer is a versatile and airy luminaire designed to transform outdoor spaces into welcoming retreats while integrating seamlessly into interior environments. Its presence is light and unobtrusive, yet deeply connected to the way we inhabit spaces, offering illumination that feels close, warm and human.
The inner light gently washes the handwoven knitted shade, revealing a soft translucent texture that enriches everyday moments. This subtle glow creates an atmosphere of comfort and calm, enhancing the sensory experience of light rather than imposing itself.

The design process led to the development of a slender, lightweight shade made from tubular woven knit that gradually expands into a near-spherical form. While visually simple, the design is the result of innovative technical solutions, including the use of a single weather-resistant thread that allows the luminaire to retain its shape outdoors, and a precise moulding process that defines the knit structure with clarity and strength.
More than a luminaire, Closer acts as a glowing companion throughout the day. Its wireless and surprisingly lightweight construction allows it to be easily moved from place to place, adapting naturally to different moments and settings.
The floor lamp charges wirelessly via induction and features a discreet button on the top, offering three brightness levels to suit different lighting needs. Its rigid stem is designed to keep the light precisely positioned above the surface, making it especially suitable for illuminating tables at close range. Available in two lengths, the stem allows the height to be adapted to each installation, ensuring stable, uniform light and optimal visual comfort.
Closer is available in three carefully curated palette of finishes (beige, terra red and green), conceived to harmonise naturally with both outdoor landscapes and interior spaces.
