CIRCA-Diana is an aid and solution to regulating the circadian sleep cycle. The bulb’s spectrum aligns with the owner’s location (terrestrial geolocation) and local time, memorizing the actions to be performed, thus producing radiation that helps regulate the biological clock of the person who purchased it.
CIRCA-Diana comes with a special stand for use on a table or near a person, even in the presence of other artificial light. This design facilitates the penetration of the nearby light beam with its different, constantly changing spectral capabilities. When turned off, it maintains its temporal position, and when turned back on, it is able to re-synchronize with the app owner’s circadian clock.
CIRCA-Diana is a glass light bulb with an E27 socket, 220 Volts, 8.8W, and 806 lumens.
CIRCA-Diana is geolocalized in terms of longitude, latitude, and time.
CIRCA-Diana has position and time memory.
CIRCA-Diana emits a broad, electronically controlled circadian spectrum during day and night.
CIRCA-Diana emits a light spectrum that supports the human biological clock in the sleep-wake rhythm and cognitive functions.
CIRCA-Diana has a special pyramid-shaped, anti-glare optic with a spectrum free of blue-hazard emissions that are harmful to the retina.
CIRCA-Diana’s light emission is designed for use on a table or bedside table, close to the surface of the human skin. This concept facilitates the absorption of light radiation that regulates the Circadian Rhythm.
CIRCA-Diana is controlled by an app that manages the spectrum, allowing for customisation or even automatic adjustment.
CIRCA-Diana is a helper.
CIRCA-Diana is a tribute to the 2017 Nobel Prize in Medicine , Jeffrey C. Hall, Michael Rosbash e Michael W. Young
CIRCA-Diana is a concept and design made in Italy by Francesco Iannone and Serena Tellini.
