The exterior lighting at Regent Bali Canggu is designed to support the resort’s calm and refined atmosphere, while highlighting the architecture’s blend of Balinese tradition and modern design. Located between lively Canggu and Batu Bolong Beach, the lighting guides guests through a peaceful journey from arrival to the oceanfront.
The experience begins along the private driveway, where soft, warm lighting gently slows the pace and creates a sense of retreat from the busy surroundings. At the arrival pavilion, light reveals the textures of stone, timber, and woven-inspired screens, bringing out the resort’s connection to Balinese craft without feeling overwhelming.
Across the masterplan, the low-rise guestroom blocks are illuminated with subtle facade lighting that follows the gentle forms of the architecture. Pathways, gardens, and pools are lit with minimal, carefully placed fixtures that preserve darkness while ensuring comfort and safety. Key views, especially the long axis from the main building to the ocean are framed with soft accents that guide the eye without distracting from the natural surroundings..
A timer based control system automatically adjusts illumination from dusk to late evening, lowering light levels after peak hours to reduce glare, protect the night environment, and maintain a calm atmosphere.
