The lighting concept for Ekiben Athens is designed to translate the precision and warmth of Japanese culinary culture into a contemporary urban dining experience.  Soft, layered illumination emphasises the geometry of the space, creating an intimate atmosphere throughout the day.

Focused accent lighting highlights the food as the central ritual, while the soft glow of the façade is extended into the interior through a bespoke backlit ceiling.

RGBW lighting is used extensively to transform the atmosphere from a relaxed daytime dining experience to an energetic evening setting for cocktails, good music, and social interaction.
