Krishna Mistry

Krishna Mistry is a London-based architectural lighting designer and founder of Mistry Lighting, established in 2020. With over 14 years of experience and a background in interior design, she brings a design-led, spatially sensitive approach to her work, viewing light as both a technical discipline and a tool for shaping atmosphere and experience.
Her early career at global engineering practice Buro Happold involved complex, large-scale international projects, informing the collaborative and technically grounded approach she brings to her studio today. Her practice spans hospitality, co-working spaces, and sensitive Grade II listed buildings, with notable projects including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Cut & Craft Restaurants, and multiple UK-wide rollouts for Nando’s.
Alongside her practice, Krishna is passionate about education and knowledge-sharing, occasionally lecturing at the University of Portsmouth and recently beginning outreach talks at primary schools.
