Introducing Takeout, Buster + Punch’s first portable light designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Encapsulating the brand’s bold attitude and distinctive identity, Takeout redefines what a portable light can be. Made entirely from solid metal (brass or steel), and featuring the brand’s signature cross-knurled pattern, Takeout offers design precision and tactile quality to the market.

Unlike typical portable lights, often designed purely for function, Takeout combines sculptural form, craftsmanship and performance. Elevating everyday lighting, bridging architectural design with practical versatility.

True to the brand’s story, Takeout reflects Founder and Creative Director, Massimo Buster Minale’s roots as an architect by day and an industrial designer by night. The knurling texture, refined by hand, is featured on Takeout and across Buster + Punch’s hardware, lighting and electrical products. Their signature pattern is inspired by the custom motorbikes Massimo designed when working late at night in his Shoreditch workshop.

Takeout is a design that reimagines the award winning Buster Bulb in a new portable format, featuring the brand’s patented central light pipe that glows warmly beneath a secondary LED canopy. Utilising a rechargeable battery, offering approximately 14 hours of use at its brightest setting, Takeout’s discreet, touch-sensitive solid metal pad at the top of the light not only turns it on and off but cycles through three dim settings. With an IP65 rating, it’s equally at home on a dining table, the bedside or an outdoor terrace, ideal for customers wanting something that they can take anywhere for on the go moments

Takeout is also designed for use across restaurants and hotels, settings where Buster + Punch can really set the perfect mood, providing a centre piece without the need for extensive cables and at such a premium quality. With its hand polished, solid metal design, the guest experience can be enhanced even further. The dim settings allow guests to set their desired ambience, whether that’s at the table or by the bedside. As well as offering flexibility and architectural design for commercial projects too, so that both interior designers and hospitality settings can experience true craftsmanship of the highest quality.
