Line Twist: minimalist in its appearance, diverse in its application
Crosses boundaries – connects opposites. With the Line, Selux is revolutionising the look of street lighting. The design philosophy behind the Line is to radically reduce the complexity of a luminaire’s form by integrating the optics as vertical line into the pole. The result: slim line luminaires that support a calm and restrained urban landscape. Minimised cross-sections that ensure elegant proportions.
The new design variation Line Twist creates even more possibilities to emphasise the beauty of urban spaces. The previously linear only design has been extended by a spiral-shaped arrangement of the optical modules. In two versions, Line Twist can either aim light around corners of a building or provide classic circular illumination. Light is specifically directed where it is needed and creates places with high quality living space.
A new clarity in urban space
Line combines diverse functions in a radically simplified form. Vertical, linear optic modules integrate smoothly into the minimalist luminaire. With innovative lighting technology, the Line fulfills all relevant lighting tasks, from building-adjacent applications to the illumination of squares, parks, streets, and paths. The product family includes columns, bollards, pole and wall luminaires, as well as retrofit luminaires for existing poles. Micro-faceted reflectors offer high visual comfort and comply with glare-reduction standards. The precision of the optics minimises light pollution and allows for lighting in harmony with nature.
Variety in materiality and colour
The Line supports individual lighting concepts: The light column offers the freedom to customise the luminaire design by combining luminaire surfaces, light colours, and reflector materials. A contrasting appearance of concrete, gold, and warm light colour is as achievable as a timeless design through the fusion of classic steel and silver reflectors. The extensive colour palette includes special concrete finishes, surface variants like matte, or gloss, and various metal effects.
Black optics for conscientious landscape design
A pitch-black night sky with glimmering stars is much more than just the perfect background for designing urban spaces using light. A dark Night Sky is also important for ecology and natures rhythms and as a result for the well-being of human beings, animals and plants. Line Black features Dark Sky optics, protecting the night sky and lighting urban spaces in harmony with nature.
