The lighting project introduces a second skin on the exterior façade. Following the principle of circular geometry and the random arrangement of small perforations in the façade material, indirect light luminaires are incorporated to create depth and volume, generating a three-dimensional visual effect both day and night.
The façade comes to life through soft, previously programmed sequences of warm light. These light scenes transform the building into a dance of eclipses of warm light that, in addition to providing beauty, attract the attention of clients and visitors. The interaction of light with the exterior coating creates a dynamic and attractive effect, turning the façade into a key element that elevates retail architecture to a new level of design and experiential innovation.
In the Open Mall project we have worked on the following sustainability practices:
1. The implementation of intelligent management systems that automatically adjust the light intensity according to the specific needs of the environment contributes to more efficient use of energy.
2. The visual quality in the environment, finishing materials of the custom made luminaires, prevention of the light pollution with the non-emission of direct light as well as everything that provides a pleasant, healthy visual environment that promotes well-being.
3. The flexible design that allows not only to carry out the necessary maintenance, but also, in case of the reorganizing the façade, allows the lighting system to be relocated under a prior design is essential if one does not want to remake the lighting system from the relocation of the switches until the change in the ducting and wiring.
