For the refurbishment of the Liverpool restaurant, Hoare Lea collaborated closely with Fettle Design to craft a fresh lighting concept. The objective was to fashion a modern and luxurious atmosphere that exudes opulence and relaxed sophistication. The renovation encompassed the main dining area, the addition of a new bar, alongside a new private dining area and wine display to the basement level.
The lighting strategy integrated a blend of decorative chandeliers, wall and table lights to establish a mood and add interest. Additionally, discreet architectural lighting was strategically positioned to accentuate the architectural features of the space, injecting a sense of drama. Illumination within joinery elements was utilised to emphasise the pivotal areas of the restaurant including the bar and banquette seating areas. Battery powered table lights we used to draw attention to the seating areas and offer a soft and intimate atmosphere ideal for evening dining.
This multi-layered lighting approach harmonises with the interior design, offering visual interest and sparkle while creating an atmosphere that is warm and inviting devoid of distraction.
