Jenny Bland, founder of independent lighting design consultancy Lightheory Studio brings over 15 years of experience to the industry. With a career covering a diverse range of lighting disciplines including artisan lighting manufacture, bespoke commercial lighting manufacture and design and architectural lighting design consultancy.

Having Studied both Fine Art and Furniture Design, Jenny specialised in bespoke lighting in the early part of her career and spent several years producing limited edition handmade bespoke fine lighting pieces for private clients before moving into lighting consultancy.

Jenny has been working on luxury prestigious projects globally for much of her career, honing her skills at larger practices and in recent years has been steadily gaining a reputation as a respected industry specialist in her own right.

Jenny founded her own studio in 2020 to continue to build on her core values of providing a truly bespoke and tailored service creating simple, refined, and timeless designs. She and her team deliver a client focused, personal service for projects requiring a high level of aesthetic sensibility and bespoke design including luxury hospitality, spas, private residences, members clubs, fine art, museums and art galleries. Her signature elegant style comes from a sensitive and intuitive approach, aimed at creating balance and calm within a space.

Jenny has collaborated on many high-profile buildings globally and has a real passion for providing designs that speak of their location and setting through lighting that is tailored to the unique architectural personality of a building. Her wealth of experience in the luxury market has led her to delivering many notable domestic and overseas projects.

Restaurants 20 Berkeley St and Endo, Point Yamu Resort Thailand, Exhibitions for The Natural History Museum, House of KOKO Members Club, Chiltern Firehouse Hotel, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch, Asbury Ocean Club Hotel New Jersey and The Stratford Hotel London and the Pret a Manger national roll out.
