Aperture is a serene and immersive visual experience created for the ninth annual Clerkenwell Design Week in collaboration with Jestico + Whiles.

The form of the sculpture takes inspiration from the George Eastman Kodak factory, which was located in Clerkenwell at the end of the 19th century. The fins are produced from 64 Porcelanosa Krion, and have slowly decreasing apertures.

Dynamic, coloured light travels along the underside of the form, illuminating the soft internal curves. This creates a mesmerising shift in perspective and the sculpture takes on an organic life.
